
The College of Accounting offers an 18-month integrated VET (Vocational Education and Training) programme, combining theory of accounting sciences and workplace-based experiential learning. The mission is to provide supportive academic instruction and practical training to young professional accounting technicians from local previously disadvantaged communities in South Africa.

The VET Programme offers both theoretical support and practical mentorship in accounting sciences.
Business skills for entrepreneurs and business managers.
All tutors and lecturers of the college hold a minimum of National Diploma in Financial Management, senior staff hold postgraduate qualifications. Collectively the team has about 45 years of experience in accounting field.
The Work Integrated Learning interns are wholly funded by a TVET College or SETA after completion of N6 Financial Management Certificate. Students are advised to approach the Placement Office at each TVET College for availability of funding for internship.
The VET Programme is funded by various donations from the private sector, public sector and international organisations for under-privileged but intellectually gifted students to further their studies in financial management.
The Short Courses are funded by entrepreneurs themselves.
